All members of Pax et Bellum are encouraged to attend the Members Meeting on September 9th, at 17.00 in Hall 24 of the Department of Peace and Conflict Research.  The purpose of the meeting will be twofold: for the Board to meet the new members of Pax et Bellum and to elect four new board members for the remainder of the 2010 term: Vice Chairperson & Head of Activities and three General Board Member seats.  These seats are to replace exiting board members and have a term expiration of mid-January.

If you are interested in running for a seat on the Pax et Bellum board, you are welcome to contact our Election Board to express your interest.  However, it is not necessary to state intent in advance as all members are able to announce their candidacy at the meeting.  For more information regarding the seats, you are welcome to contact our Head of Public Relations & Information, Petter Sjunnestrand or the Chairman of Pax et Bellum, John L. Gray.  You are also welcome to consult the Pax et Bellum Statutes for job descriptions.
