Many of Pax et Bellum’s members are students and we understand how important volunteer and internship experience is for students – especially in the peace and conflict field.  Because we want to support our members, we will be posting internships and volunteer opportunities from time to time.  One such opportunity is UNV (United Nations Volunteers) Online Volunteer Service.

UNV Online Volunteer Service gives volunteers the opportunity to volunteer remotely.  It is a great way to gain volunteer experience if you aren’t able to be physically present at an organization due to classes, job, etc.  All of the available positions are carried out entirely online.  Some are long-term while other last only one week.  It is also a great way to gain experience with translation since many of opportunities involve translating documents or reports .  So, if you are looking for volunteer experience, it is a great place to start.
