Pax et Bellum is pleased to announce the launch of the Uppsala Crisis Simulation this October. This dynamic, two-day simulation game will give students the opportunity to engage in the negotiation process in search of a peaceful resolution to the current crisis in Cuidad de Juarez, Mexico.
Unlike many negotiation simulations, UCS participants take on roles beyond the traditional diplomats and government agents. This year’s participants will have the opportunity to assume roles that range from leaders of the Sinola Cartel to the media – and of course the traditional diplomats and government agents.
The pre-briefing for the event will take place on October 12th and will give participants an opportunity to learn negotiation strategies as well about the crisis in Mexico. The actual simulation will take place on the 16th and 17th of October.
To learn more about the Uppsala Crisis Simulation, please visit the UCS section of our website or e-mail the UCS team.
Registration opens September 6th and is limited to approximately 30 participants so early registration is strong recommended.
